Fisker Project Ronin is a stunning electric GT named after a film

American EV startup Fisker showed off its third vehicle, a battery electric grand tourer. It condemned Project Ronin and promised the greatest range of any production EV.

This machine will be Henrik Fisker’s third vehicle, following the Ocean SUVs and the Pear SUVs. Next year, the Ocean will be available in the UK. The smaller Pear will follow the next year.

A single teaser image has been released by the firm of the Ronin. It appears to be a dramatic two-door, four-seater, with a long, sloping bonnet. To maximize the range, it will be made of lightweight materials and include active aerodynamics. The chassis will also have the battery pack integrated into its structure.

Fisker states that a GT sports car will be a priority, with a driving experience and a vehicle that is comfortable for long distances. The firm claims that Project Ronin was named after the 1998 John Frankenheimer movie, which featured a lot of car chases. It was either that, or the Fisker Cars 2.

Henrik Fisker stated that the goal was to have the longest range of an electric vehicle in production, while also achieving high performance. However, he did not give specific details. “Project Ronin” will showcase our internal engineering, powertrain and software capabilities.
